Vix has been writing since childhood, from silly rhymes, inspired by the likes of Dr Seuss, Roald Dahl and Spike Milligan, to poems and short stories.
In October 2008 she wrote her first children’s book: Do Spiders Have Ears? (first of the Small Creatures series), and since, has added to this with The Moon (first of the My Uncle and I series) and The Boat Journey.
2011 has seen the publication of Yuri Gagarin – The First Spaceman which was sponsored by The British Council in time for the 50th Anniversary of his spaceflight in April. To date it has sold nearly 2000 copies.
Yuri Gagarin – The First Spaceman is the first book in a series about Space Exploration.
Vix has developed books from conception to publication and has an extensive knowledge of all the processes involved in producing a quality product.
Vix's art and design training, creative thinking and communication skills enable her to see the big picture on any project and communicate it effectively.
